Put your shoes on and the dog leashes by the door in case you have to scram.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Text someone to see if they have power.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Light candles.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Watch the firemen roam around outside your door.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wave the towel under the smoke alarm (from the candles), hope the firemen don\u2019t hear it.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Listen to the people upstairs on their deck trying to find out what\u2019s up.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Read by candle light and wonder how people in the early days weren\u2019t all blind with headaches.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wave the towel under the smoke alarm again<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Put out a couple of candles, do we really need the one on the dining room table?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Take the dogs for a walk<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
