I\u2019m sure this is my favorite month of the whole year. It\u2019s a gradual reawakening of the senses. The leaves begin to turn, the farmer\u2019s market is the picture of abundance, and the people have all gone back to work and school.  Not that anyone ever gets in my way I can duck in and out with the best of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our deck is still a haven and it\u2019s been a pleasure to actually watch the leaves turning in a gradual way.  Some years the weather has caused them to simply fall off the branches without ever giving us their beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was reminded what a cool woman I used to be when my sister got in a conversation about her \u201cCar Hag\u201d sister.  What feels like a thousand years ago I had a fabulous \u201csleeper\u201d Camaro with just a few modifications?  I could hold my own \u201coff the line\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will have the pleasure of dog sitting our neighbor\u2019s lab in November. It occurred to me that it might be smart to do a \u201ctest\u201d overnighter, not because of Jackson but the lovely Miss Vecchietta can be a bit much\u2026 Turns out they fell into a rhythm at once.   She was only a little bit of a brat, he didn\u2019t care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cfjnine\u201d challenges continue to keep me in the creative safe space, not sure what I\u2019d do without this lovely and supportive group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
